We'll cover everything from predator protection to the basic structures needed for successful farming. This tour is perfect for anyone curious about where their food comes from, or those interested in starting their own homestead. If you're wondering what it takes to manage a farm sustainably, we'll answer all your questions! What To Expect: This is a walking tour across our pastures, so please dress appropriately. Be prepared to navigate tall grass or brush as we take you to see our animals in their natural habitats. Depending on the weather, conditions may be muddy, so sturdy footwear is recommended. Farming happens rain or shine, so unless there's severe weather, the tour will go on! About Us: Meet Shawn and Jackie, the owners Cackling Owl Homestead since 2017. With Shawns background in crop farming and Jackie's rural upbringing, they've embarked on a journey of regenerative farming. While still learning and improving, their passion for sustainable practices has led them through some challenges and triumphs.
